Ngwenya is a free agent after turning down a new deal with Dunfermline Athletic.

Lincoln winger Ring joins Kilmarnock

Swedish winger Erik Ring has joined Kilmarnock from Lincoln for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old, who began his career at AIK Solna, has agreed a two-year contract with Killie after spending the past two seasons with the Imps in League One.

Ring becomes Neil McCanns sixth signing of the summer after Ieuan Owen, Calum Ferrie, Roshaun Mathurin, Bailey Rice and Mark OHara.

Hibs sign midfielder Abdulai from Orient

Hibernian have signed former Scotland Under-21 midfielder Azeem Abdulai from Leyton Orient on a three-year contract.

The Glasgow-born 23-year-old has moved to Easter Road for an undisclosed fee after making more than 60 appearances for the Sky Bet League One club since joining from Swansea in January 2025.

Abdulai, who has joined the Hibees at their training camp in Ireland, becomes David Grays third summer signing following the arrivals of Jason Kerr and Callum Wright.

Simpson-Pusey leaves Man City to join Cologne

Jahmai Simpson-Pusey has joined Cologne from Manchester City on a permanent deal after spending the second half of last season on loan with the Bundesliga side.

The 20-year-old came through Citys academy, and last summer was named Premier League 2 player of the season after captaining the team to the title.

He joined Celtic on a season-long loan last August, but that move was cut short as he struggled for playing time in Glasgow, and he instead moved to Germany during the January transfer window.

The former England under-18 defender made six senior appearances for City.

Celtic confirm Oxlade-Chamberlain deal

Celtic have confirmed Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain has signed a one-year deal with the club.

The 32-year-old spent the second half of last season at the Scottish Premiership champions, with a mutual option to extend if both parties were happy.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is said to have enjoyed his spell in Glasgow, where he helped to guide Celtic to a dramatic domestic double - scoring winners against Livingston and St Mirren.

Hoops boss Martin ONeill wanted to keep hold of the ex-Arsenal player and convinced him to commit to the club for another season.

It is understood Oxlade-Chamberlain had a number of options from clubs across Europe.

WSL: Brighton sign ex-Arsenal midfielder Walti from Juventus

Brighton Women have signed midfielder Lia Walti from Juventus Women

The 33-year-old returns to the WSL having played for Arsenal, where she helped the Gunners to win the 2025 Champions League.

Seagulls head coach Dario Vidosic said: Lia is a huge addition to the team ahead of the new season.

She brings a similar leadership profile to the group as Fran Kirby - a huge amount of experience at the very top end of the game, with silverware to show for it.

Lias career speaks for itself and I am looking forward to seeing the impact she will have for us.
