'Klopp the only alternative if Nagelsmann leaves Germany'
Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg speaking on Your Site News:
"Julian Nagelsmann has a contract to 2028 and a release clause in summer 2027. He has a big, big, big, big, big contract - he can earn up to 8m gross per year.
"Right now, we don't have any information about resigning and he made clear after the final blow that he doesn't want to go away, that he wants to continue with the German national team, if the bosses want to continue with him. But now we have to analyse. Right now, it's unclear.
"Rumours about Jurgen Klopp, at this stage, are completely speculative. We have to see what will happen.
"I can really imagine there will be a consequence for Julian Nagelsmann and in the end, if he will be sacked or if he will resign, then Klopp is the only alternative.
"I'm totally convinced he would be ready for the job."
Rosenior in talks to become Paris FC boss
Latest from Your Site News' Lyall Thomas:

Rosenior was sacked by Chelsea in April after just 106 days in charge.

But the 41-year-old looks set for a quick return to the dugout to replace Antoine Kombouare as Paris FC boss.
Maeda hints at Celtic exit
Latest from Your Site News' Anthony Joseph:
Celtic forward Daizen Maeda has hinted that he may need to move this summer to keep improving.
The 28-year-old was a star performer for Japan at the World Cup, including in last nights 2-1 defeat to Brazil.
Speaking after their World Cup exit he said: "I personally feel that I need to keep improving and take another step forward. It made me realize that I can't stay at my current level and that I need to become a better player."
Celtic knocked back a bid in the region of 20m from Wolfsburg for Maeda with just a few days left in last summers transfer window.
Maeda thought he was leaving for the Bundesliga club and even cleared out his locker at Lennoxtown, but Celtic rejected the offer because they felt they had no time to replace him with Adam Idah also on the brink of leaving for Swansea City at the time.
Its understood the Hoops are braced for bids for the Japan international, after scoring 12 goals in the last seven games for Celtic to help them secure the Scottish Premiership title and Scottish Cup.

Klopp responds to links to Germany job as Nagelsmann says: 'I won't quit'
Julian Nagelsmann is under pressure after Germany crashed out of the World Cup by way of a penalty shoot-out defeat to Paraguay.
The 38-year-old has been in charge since September 2023 and is under contract until 2028.
After Germany's exit, he said: I am not someone who runs away. This is not the first time this has happened, and there are some things about today that need to be changed.
"But if the DFB wants me to continue I am going to continue. I know the mechanics of football, I know how the industry works. I know a lot of people will want me to leave but I would love to continue if the football association wants me to.
Jurgen Klopp is current Head of Global Soccer for Red Bull and has been linked with the job.
After the defeat, he told MagentaTV: "I haven't thought about that yet. I understand that my name is being mentioned now. But it's not the time to talk about that."
Earlier in the tournament, Klopp called on Nagelsmann to drop Jamal Musiala for Germany's tournament opener against Curacao, but said: "Luckily, Julian Nagelsmann is still picking the team."
He later issued an apology.
"I could have punched myself in the face for that, but it was already too late and I was on TV. It just slipped out so casually, and has absolutely no relevance," he said.
"What I've realised is, I'll be 59 on Tuesday and I'm still an idiot.
"We are completely on your side, whatever you do with this. Nothing will come of it that is intended to disrupt the process here."
